Dr. Sandra Carrillo, MD, MPH

 Dr. Sandra Carrillo obtained her medical doctor degree from Universidad CES in Medellin, Colombia. She also has a masters degree in aesthetic medicine from Baleares Island University in Spain and completed a university program of aesthetic medicine in Argentina certified by the International Antiaging Society.  Dr. Carrillo also has a masters in public health administration from Universidad Latina in Panama and she is also certified as a Doctor in Cannabis Medicine.  Dr. Carrillo is a member of the The International Association for Cannabinoid Medicines.  

John Nemanic BA BAS MBA CLO

 John Nemanic is a serial entrepreneur and investor, with extensive experience in starting, growing, managing and exiting firms. His current interests are medical cannabis startups, with a focus on Colombia.  He is currently the Chairman and CEO of Colombia Organica a Licensed medical cannabis producer in Colombia and he has attended many cannabis conferences and events worldwide giving him a huge expertise in the field.   Colombia Organica recently signed an Investment Agreement with MYM Nutraceuticals Inc., (CSE: MYM) (OTC:MYMMF) (CSE: MYM.CN) (MYM.CN) for $2,500.000 for  a 49% stake. http://www.mym.ca/mym-to-acquire-49-stake-in-colombian-cannabis-company-colombia-organica/

Dr. Francisco Alvarez Divo , MD

Dr. Alvarez Divo is a cannabinoid medicine specialist and cannabis expert. He attended medical school at Universidad de Carabobo and obtained is Medical Doctor degree in 2009,  immediately afterwards he served a general practitioner in a rural community in Margarita island, Venezuela.   In 2011 he Moved to southern California to obtain his M.D. certification in the U.S.A.  through the Educational Commision for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) then he worked at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) as a postdoctoral research fellow in minimally surgery and Immediately after completed an internship in general surgery.  In 2016 he got certified as a Doctor in cannabis medicine and also obtained growing and manufacturing certifications for medicinal cannabis.  

Dr. Horacio Yepes, MD

Dr. Yepes is currently a licensed Orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery subspecialist, practicing in Nova Scotia, Canada, with the Nova Scotia Health Authority and an Assistant Professor Faculty of medicine, Division Orthopaedic Surgery, at Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, Canada. He has served as a general medical practitioner with the air patrol of  Colombia and CES Clinic as well as a Clinical instructor at CES University, School of Medicine, after graduating as a Physician and Surgeon, CES University.

Dr Yepes is a member of the Canadian Consortium for Research in Cannabinoids, American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine , Canadian Orthopaedic Association , Arthroscopy Association of Canada, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Atlantic Provinces Orthopedic Society and Atlantic Provinces Shoulder Society .He has given numerous presentations and workshops in international meetings both in North and South America and published several original research papers and book chapters in such peer reviewed publications as Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and Journal of Arthroscopy.

Dr. Monica M Carrillo, MD

 Dr. Monica M. Carrillo is currently a licensed ophthalmologist and Glaucoma subspecialist practicing in Nova Scotia , Canada with the Nova Scotia health Authority,  Dr. Carrillo completed her medical school training at CES University, in Medellin and her ophthalmology residency at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellin and then her glaucoma subspecialty fellowship training at University of Toronto , Toronto, Ontario and Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Dr Carrillo is a member of the Canadian Consortium for the investigation of cannabinoids, Canadian Ophthalmological Society and American Academy of Ophthalmology.  

Dr.  Carrillo  has  several  original  research  paper  publications  at  prestigious peer  reviewed  journals.  She has served as reviewer for the American Journal  of  Ophthalmology and Canadian  Journal of Ophthalmology  and has presented at  international meetings in  both North and  South  America. Dr. Carrillo was awarded the Medical Excellence Prize upon graduation from CES University, The Family Lim Memorial Award as best fellow of  the year  at University  of Toronto, and the Stephen Drance Research in Glaucoma Award by the Canadian Glaucoma Society.

Elizabeth Henao

Business Advisory Board Member, Saviandina Organics, S.A.S. 


Chemical engineer with a master's degree in forest products science and is currently finishing her doctoral studies in engineering with an emphasis on materials. She belongs to the Research Group in Pulp and Paper since 2007, in which she has been involved in several projects.

She has several awards such as: Scholarship - Internship: young researchers and innovators "VIRGINIA GUTIÉRREZ DE PINEDA"; Master's Scholarship from the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) in: "Master of Science in Forest Products", University of Guadalajara. Guadalajara Mexico; Internship of the Scholarship Program of the Student and Academic Mobility Platform of the Pacific Alliance 6th edition Mexico; Scholarship - Internship of the Enlazamundos Scholarship Program, Medellín Colombia carried out in the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain; National doctoral scholarships of Colciencias 2012.

Andres Felipe Betancur, Eng. PhD Candidate

Scientific Advisory Board Member, Saviandina Organics, S.A.S. 

Andres Felipe Betancur is a chemical engineer and is currently finishing his doctorate in engineering with emphasis in optics and spectroscopy.

He is a professional with experience in research, mainly in areas of nanotechnology, characterization techniques and process synthesis; besides the formulation and execution of research projects. He has experience in the industry on issues related to INVIMA certification for medical products and company creation.

He has academic recognition such as the Student Exchange Scholarship granted by the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana; the internship within the framework of the program: "Platform for academic mobility of the alliance of the Pacific", the doctoral study scholarship granted by Colciencias and the Young Investigators Research Grant granted by Colciencias. He has participated in several national and international congresses and he has  

published several original research articles. He is currently developing a project based on graphene obtention and other with pulmonary stents.

Jhonnatan Garcia Areiza, Cannabis Business Attorney

Jhonnatan García Areiza is a lawyer from the University of Antioquia, with studies in corporate  real estate and urban topics from the Universidad 

Pontificia Bolivariana.He received a scholarship to study at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, he has also made research publications in national indexed journals.

During his professional practice, he has advised prestigious national and international companies on corporate matters, and has conducted legal advisory and litigation processes accompanied  by successful investigation procedures, executing methodological programs and private investigation orders for companies and individuals. He currently has made several assistances and accompainments regarding the process of legalization to work with cannabis.
